Laura atthe inlet on the North Beach route. This is one of the more scenic parts of the ride. First you fly down a nice descent to this inlet. The Chesapeake Bay opens up to the left of the picture and you ride over a bridge on a narrow spit of land separating the inlet from the Bay. The only negative is that sometimes when the water in the inlet is low the exposed mud doesn't smell very good. 8/17/2

We call this section of the road Hobbit Run bcause we keep expecting to see one peering out from the tree roots along the side of the road. Hasn't happened yet.
A pleasant view on the North beach route. I rode by this 50 times before I happened to look over and see it because it's off to the side as you descend into a sharp turn. 7/27/3
