Hi,
Just a short mention of our ride yesterday. On Sunday we decided to ride to North Beach. The weather report was not promising and so we did not want to get caught in the rain. As it turned out, we missed the rain altogether which we were both glad to avoid. The ride to North Beach is one we have done many times and it has served us well in learning to ride over different types of terrain. The ride, for the most part is moderate - with gently rolling hills, one or two hills that require some work, and a nice combination of wooded areas, farm land, residential, and small towns.
We rode to North Beach, bottled up, and decided to give the rain a real run for its money and do the 15 mile extension south of North Beach. I must say that when we first did this section of the ride, I was not a fan but as I have become a stronger cyclist the ride is actually pretty nice.
We stopped to take some pictures along the way and Kevin has posted them in the photo albums section of this weblog. If you have time, take a look.
